The Site delivers free matching services and custom search services for a fee to Investors who are seeking financial planners, advisors, or managers. The Site provides Advisor ratings, profiles, and disclosure statements to Investors who use the information to find, screen, evaluate, and select professionals to help them develop strategic plans and invest their assets.

1. Non-Commercial Use

All services on this website are intended strictly as a method for Investors to identify and select quality Advisors and as a method for Advisors to provide Investors with documented credentials and validation for the credentials. It is not intended that any person or company use the information on the site, including the names of Advisors, for recruiting, marketing of financial products or services, or purposes that compete with Paladin’s interests. Persons or companies that violate this restriction or use the site for any other commercial purpose will be subject to legal action. Investors and Advisors agree to immediately notify Paladin of any breach of this restriction.

All information that is provided on the Site is the property of Paladin Investor Resources, LLC (“Paladin”) or third party providers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. 11. Source of Data

All data used to prepare profiles, disclosure statements, and ratings are provided by Advisor for Paladin’s use. Paladin utilizes all data as provided by Advisor.

12. Referral Service

Paladin is not a referral service. Investors use Paladin's search engine to find financial professionals and due diligence to confirm the credentials and business practices of professionals prior to hiring them. Investors select the professionals they want to contact and Paladin does not direct investors to particular professionals. 

13. Investor Decisions

Investors are solely responsible for all decisions that are based on information that’s displayed on the Site.

14. Endorsements and Recommendations

Information on the Paladin website should not be considered an endorsement or recommendation for any particular Advisor, product, or company. All data that appear on the Site is for informational purposes only.

15. Advisor Ratings

Paladin's Advisor ratings are based solely on Paladin analysts’ evaluation of Advisors' credentials, integrity, fiduciary statues, business practices, and other data that are provided by Advisors, and do not represent or imply Advisors with higher ratings will provide better services or produce better results than Advisors with lower ratings. In addition, Paladin ratings are not guarantees of future results and do guarantee or endorse the competency, services, or integrity of Advisors.

16. Rating Validation

Validation means Paladin has reviewed data submitted by Advisor, applied its rating methodology to the data, and produced a rating. Validation does not mean the data are certified or audited.

17. Advisor Aggregate Characteristics

Paladin may advertise or promote the aggregate characteristics of the advisors in the Registry. The data that describe Registry advisors are based on random samples and the actual percentages may be higher or lower than the data used by Paladin.

18. Compliance Records

A small percentage of advisors in the Registry have one or more disclosures in their compliance records. Paladin reserves the right to review disclosure(s), and if in Paladin's sole determination, the complaint was frivolous, Advisor can still be admitted into the Registry with full disclosure of the complaint to Investors. Paladin also reserves the right to say Advisor has a clean compliance record due to the frivolous nature of the complaint.

19. Matching Fee

Financial professionals pay Paladin a fixed fee when investors use Paladin's search engine to find advisors and Paladin data to validate the advisors' credentials and business practices.

20. Notification of Changes

The information on the Site is subject to change without notice. Paladin may or may not inform Investors and Advisors of changes to the Site. In any event, Paladin is not liable for the completeness or timeliness of the notifications.

21. Privacy Policy

Paladin will hold all Investor and Advisor data in the strictest privacy. No data are sold to third parties. See the Paladin Privacy Policy for more information about our data collection and dissemination policies.

22. Usage Data

Paladin monitors the activity on the Site and uses general information, not personal information, to prepare reports that are disseminated to Advisors, sponsors, and the media.

23. Cookies

A cookie is a data file that Paladin transfers to Investor or Advisor hard drives when they visit the Site. Paladin uses cookies to measure activity on its Site, improve the content of its Site, notify Investors and Advisors of enhancements to its Site, and for general marketing purposes.

24. Third Party Websites

The Site is linked to certain third party websites that we believe add value for Investors and Advisors. Paladin will not be liable for the quality, accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of their services. In addition, the link does not imply any form of endorsement or recommendation by Paladin. Links are for the convenience of Investors and Advisors only.

25. Advisor Websites

Advisors may link their websites to Paladin using an icon that is provided by Paladin. The icon does not represent a recommendation or endorsement by Paladin.

26. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Paladin harmless as well as its officers, partners, owners, directors, agents, licensors, suppliers, and any third party providers to Paladin from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees resulting from any legal action that results from your use of any of the services on this website.

27. Limitation of Liability

28. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Site (excluding linked sites) is controlled by Paladin from its office in the state of California.  By accessing this Site, Investors, Advisors, Public and Paladin agree that all matters relating to Investors and Advisors access to or use of this Site shall be governed by the statutes and laws of the State of California, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof.  Investors, Advisors, Public and Paladin also agree and hereby submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the Eastern District of California with respect to such matters.

29. General

The Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Advisor Agreement, and other rules, guidelines, license agreements for downloadable software and disclaimers posted on this Site constitute the entire agreement between Paladin and Investors, Advisors, and Public with respect to their use of this Site.  If for any reason a court of competent jurisdiction finds any provision of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Advisor Agreement, or portions thereof, to be unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties as reflected by that provision, and the remainder of the Terms of Use shall continue in full force and effect.  Any failure by Paladin to enforce or exercise any provision of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy or related right shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.  The section titles used in the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Advisor Agreement are purely for convenience and carry with them no legal or contractual effect.
